200-acre certified organic Maine property will support Herbal Works’ commitment to responsible sourcing, ingredient traceability and farm-toformulation integration, with the first harvest expected in 2027
Sheridan, Wyoming / CRWE PRESS RELEASE / September 9, 2026 - Herbal Works today announced a strategic agricultural partnership with Stone & Pine Acres, a 200-acre certified organic property in Maine. The partnership will initially focus on hemp cultivation while creating opportunities to expand into additional herbs, botanicals and specialty crops supporting Herbal Works’ growing health and wellness portfolio.
The initiative represents an important step in Herbal Works’ strategy to develop greater visibility and control across its botanical supply chain—from cultivation and ingredient sourcing through formulation, manufacturing and finished products.
Initial planning and cultivation development will focus on hemp varieties selected specifically for Herbal Works’ product development and manufacturing requirements, with the first harvest expected in 2027. As the relationship develops, Stone & Pine Acres has the capacity to support a broader range of botanical ingredients aligned with Herbal Works’ expanding nutraceutical and topical wellness businesses.
“Consumers increasingly want to know not only what is in their wellness products, but where those ingredients came from and how they were grown,” said Wayne Harvey, CEO of Herbal Works. “Our partnership with Stone & Pine Acres gives us an opportunity to create that connection from the ground up. By combining certified organic cultivation with greater control over sourcing and traceability, we can carry our commitment to quality from the farm through formulation, manufacturing and ultimately to the consumer.”
From Maine Soil to Finished Product
The Stone & Pine Acres initiative will provide Herbal Works with greater insight into the complete lifecycle of select botanical ingredients. Beginning at cultivation, Herbal Works will have the opportunity to work closely with the farm on plant selection, growing practices, harvesting protocols and post-harvest handling, with an emphasis on consistency, quality and traceability.
Maine’s agricultural heritage and natural environment provide a compelling setting for Herbal Works’ broader vision of connecting responsible cultivation with science-driven health and wellness innovation.
Beyond hemp, the 200-acre property provides significant potential for future cultivation of additional herbs, botanicals and specialty crops as Herbal Works continues to develop and expand its product portfolio.
A Commitment to Certified Organic Cultivation
Stone & Pine Acres’ certified organic status aligns with Herbal Works’ commitment to responsible sourcing, quality and transparency.
For Herbal Works, the relationship reflects a broader philosophy that product quality begins long before an ingredient reaches a manufacturing facility. It begins with the land, the plant, how it is cultivated and how it is handled throughout the supply chain.
The first harvest is anticipated in 2027, marking the beginning of what Herbal Works and Stone & Pine Acres envision as a long-term agricultural and botanical sourcing relationship.
Building a More Transparent Supply Chain
Herbal Works is developing an integrated health and wellness platform encompassing responsible ingredient sourcing, product development, formulation, manufacturing and commercialization.
The Stone & Pine Acres partnership adds an agricultural dimension to that strategy, creating a closer connection between the source of select botanical ingredients and the products ultimately delivered to consumers.
As consumers increasingly seek greater transparency regarding ingredient origin, quality and production, Herbal Works believes farm-to-formulation visibility can become an important point of differentiation across its health and wellness portfolio.
From soil to science. From farm to formulation.
