Las Vegas, Nevada / CRWE PRESS RELEASE / May 29, 2026 — The National Junior College Prep (NJCP) Football League continues building its national football platform around a coast-to-coast conference format designed to give athletes, teams, and coaches a structured season of meaningful competition.

NJCP currently features 19 teams across 16 states, with the league divided into Eastern and Western Conferences that give each program a defined path through the season. League leadership has described the structure as a way to move junior college prep football forward while creating a broader national stage for athletes looking to continue their careers.
The conference model also gives NJCP teams a regional identity while connecting them to a larger national schedule. From Florida to Kansas City in the East, and from California to Texas, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Las Vegas in the West, the league's footprint spans football markets with different backgrounds and styles of play.
According to league representatives, the format is built to give athletes more than just a place to play. NJCP's conference structure is designed to create exposure, provide opportunities for playing time, and give players another path to compete in front of recruiters and professional scouts. The league also emphasized that its coaching staffs include former NFL players, former college athletes, former D1 coaches, and coaches with semi-pro championship experience.
The season model is expected to culminate in conference playoffs and a national NJCP championship weekend, giving the league a postseason finish that reflects its growing national footprint.
As NJCP continues preparing for its upcoming season, the league's conference structure remains central to its mission: creating a clear football pathway where athletes can compete, develop, and be seen on a national stage.
