Little Elm, Texas / CRWE PRESS RELEASE / February 25, 2026 — The Dallas Stampede, a flagship program of the National Junior College Prep (NJCP) Football League, has officially announced two open tryout dates as it builds its roster for the 2026 season. Events will be held on March 1 and March 14 at Jerry R. Walker Middle School in Little Elm, Texas.

As the JUCO football bridge for the Dallas territory, the Stampede is looking for players who refuse to let their story end; athletes who are passionate, driven, and strong. Whether they are a recent high school graduate or a transfer portal athlete looking to rebuild their brand, this is their chance to take their future into their hands.
"The next level is calling, and we are looking for players who are built for the moment," said Stampede leadership. "In this league, spots are earned, not given. We provide the platform, the film, and the coaching; these players provide the heart and the hustle."
The Dallas Stampede is one of 18 teams in the NJCP, a nationwide developmental organization spanning 18 states. Starting in August 2026, the league will provide athletes with a high-stakes environment featuring an 11-game televised schedule, professional-grade film, and access to over 200+ scholarship opportunities.
