A National Champion and seasoned professional, Jackson joins the NJCP with a mission to translate his college and NFL experience into a transformative developmental program for young athletes.

The California Roughriders are a cornerstone of the NJCP's nationwide effort to provide a professional-grade platform for high school graduates and transfer athletes seeking a bridge to a four-year degree. Under Coach Jackson's leadership, the program will leverage his extensive background in the SEC and the NFL to mold athletes into disciplined, high-performing competitors.

A Legacy of SEC Dominance and Professional Versatility

Coach Jackson's arrival marks a significant milestone for the Roughriders. A standout at the University of Alabama, Jackson was an All-SEC lineman, a two-time SEC Conference Champion, and a National Champion. His accolades on the field were matched by his dedication in the classroom, where he was recognized as a Dean's List recipient, embodying the "student-athlete" ideal that the NJCP promotes.

Beyond his collegiate success, Jackson brings a wealth of professional experience across multiple leagues. His journey through the professional ranks includes stints with the Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins, and Minnesota Vikings in the NFL, as well as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL. His international and developmental league experience with the AAF Alabama Iron and the LFA Cancun Tiburones provides him with a unique perspective on the various paths to professional success.
