Boeing Secures $474.5M Contract Action; Smartsheet Exceeds Wall Street Forecasts

The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) has secured an undefinitized contract action worth up to $474.5 million for the F-15 Japan Super Interceptor Program. This contract, part of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement, will involve the addition of the Eagle Passive Warning Survivability System for the Japan Air Self Defense Force.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is overseeing the contracting activity.

In other news, Smartsheet Inc. (NYSE: SMAR), a software company, reported second-quarter fiscal 2024 earnings of $0.16 per share, exceeding the consensus EPS estimate of $0.07. The company's quarterly sales amounted to $235.60 million, beating analysts' projected revenue of $229.51 million.
For the full fiscal year 2024, Smartsheet is revising its adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $0.53 to $0.57, up from the previous range of $0.37 to $0.44, compared to the consensus EPS estimate of $0.42 for the period.
