August Vehicle Delivery: Li Auto, XPeng, and NIO By The Numbers

Li Auto Inc. (Nasdaq: LI) reported a significant surge in August 2023 deliveries, with a remarkable 663.8% year-over-year increase, totaling 34,914 vehicles. All three Li L series models achieved monthly deliveries exceeding 10,000 vehicles. The company's year-to-date cumulative deliveries for 2023 have reached 208,165 as of the end of August.
In pre-market, $LI was trading at $42.45, up $0.80 (+1.92%).
XPeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV) also posted robust growth, announcing 13,690 Smart EVs delivered in August 2023, marking a 24% increase compared to the previous month and a substantial 43% year-over-year growth. Notably, the XPENG G6 deliveries exceeded 7,000 units in August, contributing to a cumulative total of over 11,000 units.
$XPEV was trading at $18.35 in pre-market, reflecting a gain of $0.56 (+3.15%).
Meanwhile, NIO Inc. (NYSE: NIO) reported a robust performance with 19,329 vehicles delivered in August 2023, signifying an impressive 81.0% year-over-year increase. This comprised 12,015 premium smart electric SUVs and 7,314 premium smart electric sedans. NIO's cumulative deliveries have now reached 383,908 as of August 31, 2023.
