Q2 Financial Figures: Roku and Coursera Make Waves

Roku, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROKU) delivered better-than-expected results in the second quarter of 2023, reporting a loss of $0.76 per share and revenue of $847.20 million, surpassing the consensus estimate of a loss of $1.27 per share on revenue of $773.43 million.
Looking ahead to the third quarter, Roku expects total net revenue of approximately $815 million, outperforming the analysts' estimate of $809.97 million.
$ROKU surged by $5.89 (+8.64%) in after-hours trading, reaching $74.08.
On a different note, Coursera, Inc. (NYSE: COUR) also reported Q2 2023 results, with revenue reaching $153.70 million, exceeding the consensus estimate of $145.86 million.
For the third quarter, Coursera anticipates revenue in the range of $156 million to $160 million, compared to the analysts' forecast of $153.91 million.
In after-hours trading, $COUR climbed by $1.68 (+12.91%) to $14.69.
