Evertec Reveals Upbeat Outlook; Hewlett Packard Secures $26.48M Contract

Evertec, Inc. (NYSE: EVTC) and Sinqia have entered a definitive agreement for Evertec's acquisition of Sinqia, a prominent player in Brazil's financial services software market. The deal is set at a value of R$27.19 per share, with a potential daily "ticking fee" of up to R$1.00 per share depending on the closing timing, with limited exceptions.
Additionally, Evertec has released its preliminary financial results for Q2 2023, expecting adjusted earnings per share (EPS) in the range of $0.70 to $0.72, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.65. For the full-year 2023, the company projects adjusted EPS to be between $2.75 to $2.83, while analysts' forecast stands at $2.65.

On another note, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (NYSE: HPE) has been awarded a $26,480,000 firm-fixed-price contract to deliver, install, and accept computer systems by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Engineer Research and Development Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
$HPE closed at $17.20 on Thursday, down $0.07 (-0.41%).
