Romeo Power, Inc., a subsidiary of Nikola Corporation (Nasdaq: NKLA), transferred ownership of its tangible and intangible assets to SG Service Co., LLC, acting as Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors of Romeo, as per a regulatory filing with the SEC.
The Assignment included the payment of fees by Romeo to the Assignee, along with the transfer of rights, titles, and interests in the assets. Romeo was previously engaged in the manufacturing of battery modules, packs, and battery management systems for commercial vehicle applications.
In pre-market, $NKLA is trading at $1.28, down $0.09 (-6.57%).
In other news, Impel Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: IMPL), a pharmaceutical company focused on innovative drug delivery technologies, has been awarded patent No. US 11,690,819 B2 titled "Respiratory tract delivery of levodopa and DOPA decarboxylase inhibitor for treatment of Parkinson's disease" by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
$IMPL is currently trading at $1.62 in pre-market, showing a notable increase of $0.35 (+27.56%).
