Shares of Nauticus Robotics, Inc. (Nasdaq: KITT) witnessed a significant surge of over 30% in pre-market trading following the announcement of a contract awarded by Petrobras (NYSE: PBR), one of the largest energy companies globally.
Petrobras has chosen Nauticus to deploy its autonomous subsea robot, Aquanaut, to support offshore activities. This contract represents a milestone for Nauticus as it involves supervised autonomy for infield inspection services in Petrobras' Deepwater Production Field.
With approximately two months of subsea inspection time, this contract stands as one of the largest awarded contracts of its kind worldwide.
As a result, $KITT is currently trading at $2.66, reflecting a gain of $0.68 or 34.34% in pre-market
In other news, B. Riley initiated coverage on Flywire Corporation (Nasdaq: FLYW), a global payment enablement and software company, with a Buy rating and a price target of $38.
With $FLYW closing at $31.39 on Thursday, the projected price target suggests a potential upside of $6.61 or approximately 21.02%, as per the investment firm's assessment.
Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), a leading provider of payment technology and software solutions, received coverage initiation from B. Riley with a Buy rating and a price target of $179.
Despite closing at $99.62 on Thursday, the indicated price target implies a potential upside of $79.38 or about 79.66% for $GPN, based on B. Riley's view.
B. Riley also initiated coverage on Fiserv, Inc. (NYSE: FI), a global provider of financial services technology, with a Buy rating and a price target of $148.
Based on Thursday's closing price of $120.54, the assigned price target suggests a potential upside of $27.46 or approximately 22.80% for $FI, according to the financial services firm's analysis.
