Major Breakthrough: RTX's $1.15B+ Contract, LumiraDx Soars with UK's MHRA Validation

Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a business segment of RTX (NYSE: RTX), has been awarded a significant contract worth $1,151,111,454 for the production of Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM). The contract also includes the provision of AMRAAM Telemetry Systems, initial and field spares, as well as other production engineering support activities.
This contract encompasses Foreign Military Sales to several countries, including Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. These sales account for approximately 39% of the total contract value.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Air Dominance Division Contracting Office, based at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, serves as the contracting activity for this project.
