Aehr Test Systems (Nasdaq: AEHR) has secured significant orders worth $13.7 million from a leading Fortune 500 semiconductor device supplier, who is a major player in the automotive semiconductor market.
The orders are for Aehr's WaferPak full wafer Contactors, catering to the growing production capacity needs for silicon carbide power semiconductors in the electric vehicle (EV) market.
In the pre-market, $AEHR is trading at $43.20, reflecting an increase of $2.07 (+5.03%) following the announcement.
Meanwhile, Fisker Inc. (NYSE: FSR) has unveiled plans to establish a delivery center in China in 2023, aiming to commence deliveries of its Fisker Ocean SUV in the first quarter of 2024.
With China being a key market representing a significant share of global vehicle sales, Fisker aims to tap into the growing demand for premium and affordable luxury electric vehicles, aligning with the country's expanding EV market.
