NEW YORK, NY / CRWEPRESSRELEASE / August 4, 2015 / The CorpStarter North America Venture Contest will present the Third Annual CorpStarter Star Show at KPMG in Midtown New York, Friday, August 7th from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pelé Sports City, a project will be developed by the world's most famous soccer player, Pelé and David Elwing, is going to have its debut in New York at the CorpStarter Star Show.
Through fierce competing and strict screening, the finalist selection phase has finally come to an end. Survived candidates are already pumped up for the last contest day on August 7th. Meanwhile, on July 17th CorpStarter China Venture Contest wrapped up its first year competition successfully in Shenzhen, China. Deputy CFO of AMC Entertainment Inc., chairman of Guorun Venture Capital, and vice president of Shenzhen Innovation and Development Institute were all on the judges' panel and gave tremendous support to the event.
Now, back onto the final Star Show day in New York, for this year's contest, three winning teams will be selected. Ranging from art promotion and fantasy sports to real estate crowd-funding and robot system, this year is going to be the most diverse and competitive start-up race it has held so far.
On the side, there will also be two panel discussions talking about current capital market, technology innovation as well as business management from the perspective of service providers. Judges on the panel, to mention a few, include Justin McCarthy chairman of the Global Board at PRMIA, Carl Dan Killian, Jr. president of Harvard Investors Group, Alessandro Piol partner and co-founder of AlphaPrime Ventures, Adam He deputy CFO of AMC Entertainment Inc., and Soraya Darabi co-founder of Zady.com
The CorpStarter North America Venture Contest is one of the most competitive startup contests in the East Coast. It links projects and talents with capital, office spaces, startup-related services, and opportunities to explore the ever-growing Chinese market. During the past three years, CorpStarter has selected and supported ten valuable startups, helped them get funded from both US and China, offered prime location office space in Manhattan, and connected them with mentors, leading investors, law firms and accounting firms.

2013 Champion: GeriJoy, providing senior companion service with a tablet-based virtual pet.
2014 Champion: Ultroid, providing non-surgical solution to all four grades of internal and mixed hemorrhoids, with no recovery time.
